Job Overview:Rentals To Go is seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to support the upkeep, functionality, and appearance of company properties, facilities, and grounds. This position is responsible for a wide range of duties including general construction, building maintenance, repairs, and landscaping.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and capable of handling both indoor and outdoor maintenance tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring our facilities remain safe, organized, and presentable while supporting daily operations across locations.
This position requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesFacility & Property Maintenance:- Perform general building maintenance, including repairs to structures, fixtures, and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
- Complete minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Assist with construction projects, renovations, and facility improvements
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of workspaces and storage areas
Grounds & Landscaping- Maintain outdoor areas including mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscaping
- Perform seasonal property maintenance such as snow removal, leaf removal, and debris cleanup
- Ensure grounds are clean, safe, and presentable at all times
- Assist with maintaining drainage, walkways, and parking areas
Equipment & Operational Support- Operate company equipment and tools as needed to support maintenance, construction, and property upkeep
- Perform basic maintenance and care of tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Assist with organizing and maintaining work areas, materials, and equipment storage
- Support operational teams with facility-related tasks and projects as needed
General Duties- Maintain company properties, including buildings and surrounding grounds, to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-kept
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies; notify management when restocking is needed
- Communicate effectively with management regarding facility conditions, project status, and maintenance needs
- Assist with special projects, event setups, and operational support as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall business operations
All Other Duties as AssignedRequirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- Prior experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices
- Ability to perform physical labor and work both indoors and outdoors
Physical Requirements- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to operate tools, machinery, and equipment safely
